Red Gear Solutions is an IoT provider to the agricultural sector; with software which can monitor infrastructure systems like water irrigation.
A recent startup, the RedGear team wanted to revise their home-made brand identity. The sales team often felt they would get stuck in client meetings, hampered by the unprofessional brand image glaring out from the PowerPoint presentation.
This rebrand project was completed in collaboration with local designer Nikki Shield.
After a full Brand Discovery session, where we set down the business goals, industry competition and brand keywords, we set about the First Creative.
We presented the director, David, with five different identity styles. He was drawn immediately to the logo which contained the red mechanical cog and the outline of a water drop, which referenced his customer base in water irrigation. This logo took two more iteration stages before sign off, when we put together a stationery set and brand style guidelines.
